I am writing to you at the request of Zhila Tabatabai from Pierce College. Some of the fundraisers that we have come up with here in our chapter are:
TV Tapings We get paid a certain amount of money per person that shows up. So, if we have 10 people show up to a certain taping, and they pay $18 per head, we would receive $180 afterwards (although it takes several weeks for the check to come in)
Food Events - (such as a Bake Sale, Barbeque etc.)
Selling Candy or chocolate bars for Sees Candies or some other affiliation (Like Ghiradelli)
Restaurant Profits - You go to a restaurant or even a fast food place and they'll give you a flyer to print (in some cases) and hand out and each person who brings in that flyer, the restaurant attaches the receipt to the flyer and at tallies it up at the end of the time frame (3 hrs., 5 hrs., whatever time frame is decided on) and then the restaurant gives you a certain percentage of the profits - ie. 10%, 20%, etc. However, the person MUST have the flyer in order for our club to receive the percentage of profit for that order.
Then there's always a car wash, selling t-shirts or other items (like pens, sweatshirts, etc.) or selling Entertainment Books (those are great).
